In Istanbul, 14 suspects were detained in connection with an investigation into narcotic substances targeting well-known individuals. Relying on official sources, Zamon.uz reported.
According to the report, among those detained are businessmen Fikret Orman and Burak Elmas.
As stated in the announcement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been launched against these individuals with the aim of protecting the general morality of society, its social structure, and family order.
Upon analysis of the conducted operations and collected evidence, detention orders were issued for 16 suspects accused of storing narcotic substances for consumption or contributing to their distribution.
Within the scope of the investigation, officers from the Istanbul Narcotics Crime Combat Department conducted simultaneous operations at 16 addresses to apprehend the suspects. As a result, 14 people were detained, and 2 people were placed on a wanted list.

Fikret Orman, Guzide Aksoy (Guzide Duran), Hakan Sabanci, Karim Sabanci, Hande Ercel, Burak Elmas, Sezgin Koysuren, Ferhat Aydin, Lutfiye Tugce Ozbudak, Koray Serenli, Onur Bukcu, Ismail Behram Perincekli, Kaan Mellart, Didem Soydan, Onur Talay, Mustafa Tari.
