Since the beginning of this year, internal affairs and customs authorities have identified 207 cases related to firearms, and the population voluntarily surrendered 120 weapons.
As a result of systematic preventive and prompt measures taken by state authorities, the highest number of cases were recorded in Karakalpakstan, Tashkent, Bukhara, and Kashkadarya regions.
Furthermore, during the measures, 242 pneumatic weapons and 5,271 units of ammunition were identified, while customs authorities detained 28 cases of legal violations and 1.27 kg of explosive substances.
These measures are proving effective in strengthening state control and ensuring public safety.
