The "Jaloliddin Manguberdi" train will soon begin operating on the Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva route. The presidential press service reported this.

As you know, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is visiting Samarkand region today. During the trip, the head of state, together with public representatives, traveled from the city of Samarkand to Narpay district on the new high-speed "Hyundai Rotem" train brought to Uzbekistan.

This train, named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi, is the first of six "Hyundai Rotem" trains planned to be delivered to the country. The train consists of seven carriages and can reach speeds of up to 260 kilometers per hour.

The white composition with tinted windows features blue, green, and red stripes reminiscent of the Uzbek flag and the inscription "Jaloliddin Manguberdi". The train is 175 meters long and has a capacity of about 390 passengers in three classes – VIP, business, and economy.

The train is specially designed for the climate of Uzbekistan, equipped with systems resistant to dust, very high and very low temperatures, and sandstorms, and is intended for long distances.

As emphasized above, the "Jaloliddin Manguberdi" train will soon begin operating on the Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva route. The travel time is expected to be 7 hours.

During the trip, the head of state held a sincere conversation with activists, labor veterans, and advanced youth of the region.

Views were exchanged on the large-scale changes taking place in Uzbekistan, the ever-increasing number of large projects, and the good initiatives being implemented for the well-being and convenience of people.

Upon arrival in Narpay, the President got acquainted with the activities of a hydroponic strawberry greenhouse.

Agriculture has long been developed in Samarkand. There is great experience in the efficient use of land and water. In Narpay district as well, attention is increasingly being paid to the efficient use of every inch of land and available water resources, and the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies.

Today, the demand for hydroponic product cultivation is high. The "Narpay Strawberry" enterprise is one of the advanced entrepreneurial entities that applies such an innovative approach and achieves high economic efficiency.

The total cost of the project is 650 thousand dollars, and a modern greenhouse has been built on one hectare of land. This greenhouse has the capacity to produce 50 tons of strawberries per year.

Currently, the enterprise supplies its products under the "Narpay Strawberries" brand to major local retail chains. This is of great importance in supplying the domestic market with high-quality and environmentally clean products.

Based on hydroponic technology, strawberries are cultivated without soil, using special nutrient solutions. Plant roots develop not in soil, but in a well-draining coconut coir environment. Here, strawberries receive necessary minerals directly through water. This reduces the plant's energy consumption and accelerates the growth process. Yield is several times higher compared to traditional methods.

At the same time, hydroponic technology creates the possibility of producing large volumes of products on a small area. Most importantly, due to the non-use of soil, water consumption is reduced by up to 80 percent. Since the risk of plant diseases is low, the use of chemical agents is minimized. This helps ensure the environmental cleanliness of the product and fully meets today's demands.

Water-saving technologies have been implemented in the greenhouse. In particular, a large-capacity water reservoir has been built to collect rainwater and use it efficiently. Also, automated hydroponic equipment, solar panels, and energy-efficient lighting systems have been installed, reducing production costs.

It was emphasized that such projects are particularly important in ensuring a stable supply of agricultural products throughout the year. Information was also provided about the entrepreneur's future development plans.

In particular, it is planned to expand the project in the future, building new greenhouses on an additional 60 hectares of land. As a result, production volume will increase to 300 thousand tons per year. New jobs will be created.

The head of state emphasized the importance of creating stable sources of income by increasing such greenhouses in households as well.

Today, as in all fields, it is necessary to effectively use artificial intelligence in this direction as well. If the work is organized correctly, we teach people to engage in this work and widely promote this as the Narpay experience, our people will produce crops using hydroponic methods year-round, fill the market, and also earn good income, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
