On March 7, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, and Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov. The minister wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

Saidov noted that he was received by the President of Turkey and conveyed the sincere greetings of Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the meeting. He emphasized that the fraternal relations formed between the leaders of the two countries are creating a foundation for developing Uzbekistan-Turkey cooperation in various directions.

Furthermore, a meeting was held with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan within the framework of the informal gathering of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States. The parties exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and its regional consequences.

During the conversation, it was emphasized that it is necessary to resolve conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means to reduce tension and ensure stability in the region. In addition, readiness was expressed to fully implement the agreements reached at the fourth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council held under the chairmanship of the presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey in January of this year.

Bakhtiyor Saidov also noted his participation in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States in Istanbul. The minister expressed gratitude to Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan for organizing this meeting.

During the meeting, issues of increasing regional and global security threats, as well as strengthening solidarity and coordination among Turkic states, were discussed. Uzbekistan stated its support for initiatives aimed at further deepening practical cooperation within the Organization, strengthening stability and interdependence, and ensuring sustainable development.
