Margilan — The scientific-educational and tourism complex named after Burhanuddin Margilani was solemnly opened in the city of Margilan.
In his speech, the head of state noted that this complex will serve to promote the region's rich spiritual heritage and develop pilgrimage and cultural tourism.
Built on an area of 35 hectares, the complex includes the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence, maqom theater, museum, craftsmen's center, hotel and other infrastructure.
The ceremony continued with a concert program and national performances.
