Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on a working visit on April 21-22. The visit is being carried out at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the visit, the head of state will participate in the meeting of the heads of the founding states of the Regional Ecological Summit and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
It will discuss issues of ensuring sustainable development in Central Asia, ecological and climate problems, as well as the rational use of water resources.
During the summits, the President will put forward his proposals and initiatives, and also review a special ecological exhibition where national pavilions are presented.
A number of important documents are expected to be adopted at the end of the event.
