Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan got into an argument with a female passenger on the Yerevan metro. The woman accused him of handing over Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan.

According to witnesses, the argument began when the woman criticized Pashinyan for the loss of Karabakh. The Prime Minister said the government had spent large sums so that people could stay in the territory and asked why she herself had not stayed there.

During the conversation, the woman asked him not to raise his voice, while Pashinyan firmly defended his position. After some time, he addressed the situation via Telegram, acknowledged that he had gotten emotional, and apologized to the woman and her child.

For reference, Armenia lost control over Nagorno-Karabakh after the events of 2023, with thousands of residents leaving the area.
