In Thailand, a man died after being attacked by a wild monkey.

A 63-year-old man in Thailand's Chaiyaphum province has died after being seriously injured by a wild monkey bite. According to local police, the animal had been posing a threat to villagers for several months.

According to witnesses, the monkey had previously attacked people, even biting the deceased on the shoulder 10 days before the incident. As a result of the attack, the man's body was left with dozens of scratches and bite marks, and a severe injury on his left leg proved fatal.

Chaiyaphum Sae-in's body was found in his nephew's house, with a large bloodstain under the floor. While investigating the scene, the monkey reappeared and was observed watching police officers from above.

Local authorities have issued an order to eliminate the dangerous animal, and the search for it is ongoing.
