The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in the USA on a working visit accompanied by his spouse. This was reported by the head of state's press service.
At Andrews Air Force Base, our head of state was met by the Chairman of the U.S.-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, Carolyn Lamm, the Joint Staff Commander of the Mississippi National Guard, James Hinkins, and other officials, while at the designated residence in Washington, he was welcomed by the U.S. President's Special Representative, Paolo Zampolli.
During his visit to the USA, our President will participate in the first summit of the Peace Council and a number of business events.
