Earlier, reports spread about the arrest of Iqbol Soliyev, who was engaged in folk medicine at the BI ES VIP clinic in Baku. According to the Azerbaijani publication Lenta.az, he was held accountable in accordance with the law at a police station.
After that, Soliyev was expelled from the territory of Azerbaijan.
It is reported that he illegally treated patients at the clinic. At this time, large queues and disorder arose in front of the institution. Soliyev claimed to treat with bioenergy or energy therapy, taking 60 manats (approximately 400 thousand soums) from each patient.
According to the clinic's information, Iqbol Soliyev was not an employee of this medical institution. Despite this, he received patients for two days and then left the clinic.
Earlier, he had been sentenced by a district court to 10 days of arrest. On December 30, he announced on his Instagram page that he had been released and denied reports that he did not have an official license to practice medicine.
