As of 07:00 today, March 13, 32,934 citizens of Uzbekistan have been repatriated from Middle Eastern countries.
It was reported that on March 12, the embassy in Qatar facilitated the transfer of 49 citizens to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, after which they flew to Tashkent. At the same time, the next group of citizens is being formed, and arrangements for their return to Uzbekistan from Doha via Dubai are being worked out.
With the assistance of diplomatic missions in the UAE, 147 citizens have flown to Tashkent. The embassy in Iran facilitated the departure of 5 citizens through the territory of neighboring countries. From Israel, 4 citizens have returned to Uzbekistan via Egypt.
Through the joint efforts of Uzbekistan's embassy in Saudi Arabia, its consulate general in Jeddah, and the Ministry of Transport, 2,735 citizens have returned to the Homeland via charter flights, and evacuation measures in this country have been completed.
The activities of diplomatic missions regarding the repatriation of Uzbek citizens are continuing.
