The Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, the country's former President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's plane was reported to have been damaged in the USA. This was reported by Turkmen news.
According to it, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was on a visit to the state of Florida from February 16 to 18. State mass media did not report on the visit's program. However, this visit was emphasized as "opening broad prospects for further development of constructive relations between the two countries."
Berdimuhamedov arrived at Fort Lauderdale International Airport on a Boeing-777 (tail number EZ-A780). However, in footage taken by local bloggers and journalists, damage to the liner's horizontal stabilizer is visible.
Following Berdimuhamedov, another government Boeing-737 with tail number EZ-A700 flew in from Ashgabat, which is known to have made a short stop in Glasgow (Scotland) for refueling. After that, the plane stayed in Fort Lauderdale for approximately four hours and then, after refueling in Munich, Germany, flew to Ashgabat.
