It is noted that, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 24, 2025, "On determining additional non-working days and transferring days off during the celebration of official dates in 2026," May 9 — the Day of Remembrance and Appreciation — falls on a Saturday for employees working a five-day workweek. Therefore, this day off is transferred to Monday, May 11, 2026.
Accordingly:
— On May 11, 2026, classes will be held for students of general education schools (according to the schedule set for that day). Primary school students are excluded from this. — In state preschool educational organizations, May 11, 2026, is considered a day off.
For reference, in non-state educational institutions, days off are determined in accordance with the internal regulations of these institutions.
