It is reported that the tragedy occurred around 08:00 in the morning. A quarrel over money broke out between a woman, who was the mother of three children, and her eldest son.
According to investigation data, during the argument the accused struck his mother several times on the head with an axe he was holding, inflicting severe bodily harm on her.
Even after that, he did not stop his actions. The man inflicted further injuries on the woman with a utility knife and severed her head from her body.
It is reported that he then buried the body in one part of the garden and the head behind the toilet, and fled the scene.
This criminal case was examined in the Dangara District Court on Criminal Cases.
According to the court verdict, the accused was found guilty under Clause "j" of Part 2 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code — premeditated murder with extreme cruelty.
He was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment. The sentence is to be served in a general-regime colony.
