As a result of inspections conducted in Uzbekistan, the licenses of 23 pharmacies have been revoked. This was reported by the Pharmaceutical Activity Licensing Department and the Pharmaceutical Inspection.
It is noted that these pharmacies grossly violated licensing requirements and conditions.
Most cases pertain to the cities of Samarkand and Tashkent. Among the pharmacies whose licenses were revoked are "Marva-Pharm", "Adolat Yulduz Farm", "Gipofiz Farm", "The Great Farm", "Pharma Brend", "Maxsudbek Biznes", and "Mexr-Shifo Med Farm".
Furthermore, the addresses, staff, and branches of pharmacies with revoked licenses have been entered into a special register. Such lists will now be published openly.
The Ministry reminded that storing and selling medicines without certificates, as well as selling unregistered, unlabeled, substandard, or counterfeit medicines in Uzbekistan, entails liability under the law.
