On April 6, the head of state familiarized himself with a presentation on reforming the activities of tax authorities. It was noted that over the past two years, budget revenues have been growing faster than economic growth due to the expansion of the tax base.
It was emphasized that these results have also been recognized by the International Monetary Fund. The meeting identified as priority tasks: implementing an "intelligent" control system based on digital analysis and artificial intelligence to provide an additional 30 trillion soums in budget revenues this year; fully digitalizing markets and shopping complexes; monitoring P2P operations; and formalizing informal employment.
Instructions were also given to simplify tax administration and create a convenient and fair tax environment for entrepreneurs.
