In 9 regions of Uzbekistan, mudflows and floods may occur.

Synoptiklar warned about the possibility of mudflows and floods arising due to rainfall in the regions.

According to Uzhydromet, heavy rain is expected in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic on March 31 and April 2–6. This situation may lead to mudflows and floods.

Hazardous areas are as follows:

Kashkadarya: Yakkabog, Dehqonobod, Chiroqchi, Kitob, Shahrisabz, Qamashi, G'uzor

Surkhandarya: Sariosiyo, Uzun, Oltinsoy, Denov, Boysun, Sherobod, Sho'rchi, Qumqo'rg'on, Muzrobot

Samarkand: Urgut, Samarkand, Bulung'ur, Nurobod, Qo'shrabot, Kattaqo'rg'on, Payariq, Jomboy, Ishtixon

Navoi: Xatirchi, Navbahor, Nurota, Konimex, Karmana

Jizzakh: Zomin, Baxmal, G'allaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish, Yangiobod

Tashkent: Ohangaron, Bo'stonliq, Parkent, Piskent, O'rtachirchiq, Yuqorichirchiq and the cities of Angren, Olmaliq

Namangan: Pop, Kosonsoy, Chortoq, Chust, Namangan, Yangiqo'rg'on

Fergana: So'x, Shohimardon, Fergana, Beshariq

Andijan: Andijan, Asaka, Jalolquduq, Qo'rg'ontepa, Paxtaobod, Izboskan, Xo'jaobod, Marhamat and Xonabod

Residents, vacationers, and moving drivers in foothill and mountainous areas are asked to take precautionary measures. Accumulation of rainwater may also lead to flooding in some areas.
