According to information from the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred at the intersection of Niyozbek Street and Khalkobod Street. As the altercation was ending, a driver moved forward and struck four citizens.
Evidence was officially collected from the scene of the incident. The district prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 97 (attempted murder) and Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code, via Article 25. Investigative actions are currently being carried out.
It was previously reported that in Samarkand, an underage youth hit a 5-year-old girl with a car and fled.
In that case as well, the offender was found, the vehicle was taken to an impound lot, and it was reported that the girl's condition is currently good.
