Abbas Araqchi, commenting on the discussions in some circles in the U.S. about the possibility of an assassination attempt on Iran's Supreme Leader, stated that even if such a situation occurs, the country's system will continue to function.

According to his words, if it becomes necessary to elect a new leader, it will be carried out according to established procedures and the system will not falter. He also added that Iran's governance system relies not on specific individuals, but on institutions and the support of the people.

The minister emphasized that even under wartime conditions, the system's activities did not stop, expressing confidence that the country's governance will continue under any emergency situation.
