As part of the festival being held on April 11–13 on the occasion of the 690th anniversary of the birth of Sahibkiran Amir Timur, an exhibition titled "Clothing of the Amir Timur and Timurids Era" is also being organized.

25 theaters from across the country are participating in the event. Among them, various performances from the Kashkadarya Regional Musical Drama Theater, the Kokand City Musical Drama Theater, the Kattakurgan City Drama Theater, the Surkhandarya Regional Musical Drama Theater, the Karakalpakstan State Academic Musical Theater, and the Namangan Regional Musical Drama Theater are being showcased.
The festival began with the "Aksaray" performance by the Kashkadarya Regional Theater. Following this, a ceremonial procession titled "Clothing of the Amir Timur and Timurids Era" was held from the Bibikhanim Madrasah through Registan Square to the Samarkand Musical Drama Theater.

At the opening ceremony, First Deputy Minister of Culture Avazkhon Tadjikhanov spoke, touching upon the historical and spiritual significance of the Timurid era.
Within the festival program, the staging of performances in various theaters and the holding of a clothing exhibition are planned. At the finale, winners will be awarded in various nominations.

This prestigious art festival is being organized within the framework of the implementation of the decree PQ-46 dated February 5, 2026, of our Honorable President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, "On the wide celebration of the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Timur." This historical document not only outlined the plan for the jubilee events but also defined the strategic directions for strengthening the foundation of our national statehood, comprehending the heritage of our ancestors based on the demands of the new era, and conveying it to future generations.
