According to investigation data, a woman living in Tashkent city, born in 1953, previously convicted several times, conspired with an acquaintance born in 1982.

They agreed to sell a 2-hectare plot of non-residential land, which belongs to a business entity in Yunusabad district but is currently under arrest, for 9 million US dollars.

The suspects promised to formalize the land documents and transfer it to the residential category through their official acquaintances.

They were detained by officers of the Tashkent city department of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes at the time they received $200,000 US dollars in advance from the buyer.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these persons under Part 4, paragraph "a" of Article 168 and Articles 28, Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and investigative actions are being carried out.
