According to the State Security Service, a private entrepreneur born in 1973, residing in Syrdarya region, promised to provide a land plot containing gold and other precious metals in the Peshku district through his official acquaintances in auction trades. In exchange, he demanded 600 thousand dollars from a citizen living in Shofirkon district.
During an urgent operation conducted by the employees of the Bukhara regional department of the SSS and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, it was established that he had been convicted several times for the crime of fraud. The suspect was caught with material evidence while receiving 230 thousand dollars and 840 million soums.
Regarding the case, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 4, paragraph "a" of Article 168 and Part 3, paragraph "a" of Article 211 of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied.
