At a press conference on February 6, Tajikistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin said that the Russian side had informed them that this case was "under careful supervision."
According to him, based on information from Russian law enforcement agencies, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case, a suspect has been detained, and he has been charged with murder and attempted murder under aggravating circumstances. The court has applied a measure of restraint in the form of detention against him.
The Minister emphasized that the Russian side also stated it would provide additional information based on the investigation results. Sirojiddin Muhriddin called this incident "a painful tragedy for the entire people" and noted that the case is under special supervision by the country's President and law enforcement agencies.
We recall that Kobiljon Aliev was stabbed to death on December 16, 2025, at a school in the Moscow region by a 15-year-old Russian citizen. Tajikistan's law enforcement agencies reported that the incident was committed on the basis of national hatred.
