According to the Ministry, no instructions have been given to schools regarding a return to paper diaries. In accordance with the current procedure, the attendance and grades of students in all general education schools are managed through the eMaktab electronic journal system.
It is noted that the electronic system serves to reduce the workload of teachers, ensure transparency in grading, and provide parents with the opportunity to monitor their children's studies remotely.
The Ministry emphasized that the processes of digitalization are irreversible and stated that the spreading reports have no legal basis.
