A 9th-grade student opened fire on a teacher and classmates at Gymnasium No. 16 located in the city of Ufa, Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
It is reported that the incident occurred around 11:00 on February 3. One of the students entered the lesson with a plastic pneumatic automatic weapon and fired several shots at the teacher and three classmates, and also set off a firecracker.
Upon receiving news of the incident, police, Rosgvardia, and other rapid response services arrived at the scene. The 15-year-old teenager was quickly apprehended. The Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander Voronezhsky, also arrived at the scene.
According to the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, there are no victims as a result of the incident. All circumstances of the event are currently being investigated.
