According to the information service of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on January 17 on the A-379 Navoi-Uchkuduk highway, at the 189-190 kilometer section passing through the "Tomdibuloq" neighborhood of the Tomdi district. A Zhong Tong Bus brand bus lost control while moving and veered into the oncoming lane.
As a result of the traffic accident, two citizens suffered bodily injuries, were taken to a medical institution in the city of Zarafshan, and were provided with necessary medical assistance. Regarding the situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
We remind you that earlier this month, a road traffic accident involving a bus also occurred in this district, in which human casualties were recorded.
