The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, who was on an official visit to our country on February 24.
The meeting discussed issues of further expanding multifaceted partnership and trade-economic cooperation between the two countries.
It was noted that last year the trade turnover increased by 25 percent, reaching almost 1 billion dollars.
The importance of developing cooperation by advancing joint projects in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and the food industry was also emphasized.
