According to "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC, ticket prices have been updated due to increased costs related to operation and energy, technical maintenance, spare parts, and the modernization of electric trains.
According to the new tariffs, on the Tashkent-Bukhara route, a VIP ticket is 1 million 138 thousand soums, business class — 760 thousand soums, and economy — 509 thousand soums. On the Tashkent-Karshi route, VIP — 976 thousand, business — 642 thousand, economy — 429 thousand soums, and on the Tashkent-Samarkand route, VIP — 709 thousand, business — 455 thousand, economy — 311 thousand soums have been set.
Additionally, ticket prices for the "Sharq", "Nasaf", and "Uzbekistan" passenger trains have also been increased by 15 percent. Previously, it was decided to abandon the practice of state regulation of high-speed train tariffs and transition to market principles.
