According to information provided based on data from "Kazhydromet," new records for maximum air temperature were set in various regions of the country in the second half of November. In particular, on November 14, the air temperature at a meteorological station in the Aktobe region reached +13.2 degrees, surpassing the previous record set in 2023. A day later, on November 15, this indicator was renewed again, reaching +11.4 degrees.
Unusually warm weather was also observed in the northern and central regions. In the city of Kokshetau, +8.3 degrees was recorded on November 19, leaving the 1977 record behind. On November 23, the air warmed up to +5.2 degrees.
In the city of Zhezkazgan, new maximum temperature records were recorded for three consecutive days — November 24-26. In the city of Karaganda, a temperature of +9.4 degrees was observed on November 26, which was higher than the 1971 record.
At the same time, synoptic specialists reported that heavy rainfall, snow, fog, ice, and stormy winds were observed in some regions during November. In some places, it was noted that nearly half of the monthly precipitation norm fell in a short period.
