The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported on this matter. It was reported that the incident occurred on November 21 of this year at approximately 23:50 on the M-39 "Tashkent-Termez" international highway, at the 989 km mark, in the territory of the "Fayzobod" neighborhood of the Sharof Rashidov district of Jizzakh region.
A driver, born in 2003, a resident of the Chiroqchi district of Kashkadarya region, driving an ISUZU brand truck, while exiting from a gas filling column located on the Samarkand route, violated the requirements of road signs 2.4 "Give Way" and 4.1.2 "Move Right" installed in this section by entering the carriageway from an unauthorized location to turn towards Tashkent, resulting in a collision with a Lacetti brand car driven by a driver, born in 2002, a resident of the Oltinsoy district of Surxondarya region, which was moving along the Tashkent-Samarkand route.
Following the collision, a fire broke out from the engine compartment of the Lacetti brand car, and the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
As a result of this road traffic accident, the driver of the Lacetti brand car and four passengers in the vehicle cabin sustained various bodily injuries and died at the scene.
Currently, regarding this situation, the Investigation Department under the Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Part 3, clause "a" of Article 266 (Violation of traffic rules or operation of vehicles) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
