In today's conditions of expanding opportunities for international travel, the influence of our country's passport is also growing noticeably.
The ranking is formed based on data from IATA (International Air Transport Association). The main criterion taken into account is the number of countries that passport holders can enter without a visa. Today, Uzbekistanis have the right to travel visa-free to 62 countries.
According to experts, this indicator is the result of Uzbekistan's open policy in the international arena, active diplomatic relations, and integration into the world community. In particular, Uzbekistanis can now travel freely to countries such as Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia.
The Singaporean passport was noted as the most powerful passport in the world — its holders can enter 193 countries without a visa. The next places were occupied by Japan and South Korea (190 countries), as well as Germany and Italy.
In Central Asia, Kazakhstan ranks 71st, offering visa-free access to 63 countries. Uzbekistan (72nd), Kyrgyzstan (71st), Tajikistan (78th), and Turkmenistan (84th) defined the situation in the region. This serves as a mirror of the level of international diplomatic cooperation in the region.
At the very bottom of the list are countries affected by war and political crises — Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. The Afghan passport is considered the weakest, as its holders have the right to enter only 27 countries without a visa.
