On July 29 of this year, the head of one of the private preschool education institutions in the Khiva district of the Khorezm region injured a child. This was reported by the regional Department of Preschool and School Education.
During the service inspection, it was revealed that J.M., who was working as the head of the institution, squeezed the left shoulder area of U.Sh., a participant in the preparatory group for the Russian language subject, with force, causing bodily injury, as the child failed to recite a poem from memory.
Regarding the incident, the child's family filed a complaint with the Khiva District Department of Internal Affairs, and the matter was discussed with the participation of the deputy chief of the Khiva District DIA. Currently, preliminary investigative actions are being carried out by the officers of the Khiva District DIA.
"We inform you that all necessary measures are being taken to provide an appropriate legal assessment of this incident and to ensure the rights and safety of the child. Strict control is maintained to prevent any cases of violence against children in preschool institutions, and measures are being implemented in cooperation with relevant organizations," the report states.
