The head of the Mandatory Execution Bureau of one of the districts in Fergana region, using his official powers, demanded $2,000 for completing the enforcement actions regarding the forced eviction of defendants from a household in this district, based on a civil case execution sheet under the jurisdiction of a subordinate state executor demands.
On June 3 of this year, he received $1,200 of the demanded money as a bribe.
In the operational activity carried out by the cooperation of the State Security Service and the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, he was caught red-handed with material evidence when receiving the remaining $800.
In this case, a criminal proceeeding was initiated against the MIB official under part 2 of Article 210, paragraph “b” of the Criminal Code, and detention was applied as a precautionary measure.
