The President congratulated the nation's people on Eid al-Adha.

This holiday was noted to be in harmony with the humanitarian reforms being implemented in the New Uzbekistan, with special attention paid to the delivery of the sentence and punctuation marks.

 Today, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sent his congratulations to the people of the country. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

The President in his congratulations emphasized the importance of Eid al-Adha for the Islamic Ummah, and its promotion of high values such as humanity, generosity, and compassion. It was specifically noted that this holiday is in harmony with the humanitarian reforms being implemented in the New Uzbekistan.

– “Eid al-Adha significantly strengthens the atmosphere of kindness, unity, and openness among our people, and plays an important role in supporting the needy groups,” – it was stated in the congratulations.

The President also highlighted the efforts being made in the country to strengthen religious tolerance and harmony among nationalities, as well as to cultivate the spiritual and moral upbringing of the younger generation. He mentioned that Samarkand has been declared the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2025, and that great attention is being paid to the study of the heritage of great scholars such as Imam Maturidi, Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, and Bahauddin Naqshband.

These days, nearly 15,000 Uzbekistanis are on the sacred Hajj pilgrimage, the President noted, congratulating them on Eid al-Adha and wishing them a safe return home.

Mirziyoyev also congratulated compatriots abroad and Muslims around the world on the holiday, wishing everyone peace, prosperity, and luck.

– “Dear compatriots, I congratulate you once again wholeheartedly on Eid al-Adha, wishing peace, health, and abundance in your homes,” – the head of state concluded in his congratulations.
