Today, on May 2, a traffic accident occurred in the territory of the Konimex district of the Navoi region, resulting in the deaths of two citizens. This was reported by the Regional Internal Affairs Department.
According to the report, at approximately 07:20, on the 142–143 kilometer stretch of the A-379 "Navoi–Uchkuduk" highway, the driver of a Nexia-3, identified as N.J., was traveling at excessive speed. He lost control of the steering wheel at a dangerous turn and veered into the oncoming lane.
As a result, he collided with a SKANIA 114L truck, which was being driven by M.A.
As a consequence of the traffic accident, the driver of the Nexia-3 and his passenger sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and preliminary investigative actions are ongoing.
