The Press Service of the Ministry of Health provided information about the medical certificates required for school students to attend health camps.
— Firstly, it's worth mentioning that these sites cover children of 7-14 years old, — says Nilufar Mansurova, the chief specialist of the Child Protection Department at the Ministry of Health. — A few days before departure, they undergo a medical examination at a local family clinic or family doctor's office, and then a medical certificate in form 079 is filled out for the child.
During the medical examination, the child's general health is assessed. If they are healthy, meaning no contraindications to attending the camp are found, the certificate is formalized.
This document specifies the child's full name, age, home address, the parents' phone number, the school and class they attend, and which local clinic they are assigned to.
Additionally, the certificate must include:
- health information, namely the diagnosis (if under "D" supervision, the diagnosis at that state);
- overall allergic conditions (any existing allergies);
- past illnesses (measles, mumps, whooping cough, hepatitis, etc.);
- date of the last vaccination against diphtheria and measles;
- physical development and physical group (as recommended);
- Each child is also checked for lice by a nurse.
In the current era of digitalization in the healthcare system, obtaining a medical certificate is not difficult.
According to the Ministry of Health, our dear children will also be under medical supervision at camps. Medical stations are organized at all recreation places, fully staffed with qualified doctors and nurses and equipped with necessary medications.
