To ensure legality and maintain the architectural integrity of the capital, specialized services are removing advertising constructions without the necessary permits. The Tashkent city administration announced this.
According to reports, an analysis of the city infrastructure shows that unauthorized billboards, banners, and facades violate beautification rules and spoil the appearance of the capital’s streets and districts.
Additionally, they block pedestrian paths and road edges, particularly hindering the movement of people with limited mobility, and pose a risk to road safety by obstructing the view of road signs.
Furthermore, they cause damage to engineering networks, including irrigation channels, leading to flooding in the territories during the rainy season.
Taking into account the above, the Tashkent city administration has addressed business owners, individual entrepreneurs, and lessees regarding the placement of outdoor advertising and informational structures.
"Ensure that you have an official permission to place your advertising objects — banners, signs, constructions.
Ensure that placed advertisements meet technical requirements and do not obstruct the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
In case of violations, remove the objects yourselves to avoid fines and additional costs.
Reminder: the only legal basis for placing outdoor advertisements is documents issued by the authorized bodies of Tashkent city," states the administration's appeal.
