During the meetings, special attention was paid to issues of activating political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, increasing mutual trade volume, and deepening business relations.
The parties agreed to invite Lithuanian companies to the V International Investment Forum to be held in Tashkent. Furthermore, ideas emerged on organizing Uzbekistan–Lithuania business forums.
During the meeting, issues of holding a number of joint events, expanding cooperation in the transport sector, and strengthening the contractual-legal base were discussed.
The parties emphasized their readiness to further expand and strengthen cooperation on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the European Union.
