In the sphere of land relations, within the framework of combating legal violations, urgent measures were carried out in Kashkadarya region by employees of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
It is reported that in Karshi district, a leading inspector of the Cadastre Agency department was caught red-handed while receiving 2 thousand US dollars in exchange for canceling an applied fine of 82 million soums and formalizing cadastral documents for a 12 sotix plot of land illegally seized through official acquaintances.
Furthermore, a similar situation was identified in Shahrisabz district. A 59-year-old individual previously convicted for fraud and an employee of the district branch of the State Cadastre Chamber conspired to demand 7 thousand US dollars in exchange for formalizing a 9 sotix plot of land belonging to a local farm in the name of a private enterprise head through official acquaintances.
They were apprehended after having already received 4 thousand US dollars in advance.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and investigative actions are currently being carried out.
