Three citizens who were placed on the international wanted list on the initiative of Uzbekistan's law enforcement agencies were detained in the UAE and returned to their homeland. This was reported by the ministry.
According to the information, Interpol's National Central Bureau in the Republic of Uzbekistan, through the measures taken, identified the whereabouts of these individuals. Two of them are accused of fraud, and one of committing a crime related to human trafficking.
It is noted that after the crime, they fled to the UAE. As a result of the targeted activities of Interpol's National Central Bureau, constant communication with foreign partners, and the activation of international search mechanisms, the addresses of the suspects were identified. With the assistance of Interpol's National Central Bureau in Abu Dhabi, they were apprehended.
The process of handing over the individuals was carried out based on special agreements reached between Interpol's National Central Bureaus in Tashkent and Abu Dhabi.
