During his first visit, the President visited the mausoleum of the great hadith scholar Imam al-Bukhari, where a reading of the Quran and prayers were performed.
It was noted that in recent years the complex has been extensively rebuilt, with all conveniences created for visitors. Currently, the complex can accommodate up to 65,000 guests per day.
The head of state gave instructions to expand parking facilities for visitors, improve recreational areas, increase rest spots, and continuously analyze conditions. It was also emphasized that imam-khatibs from across the country should be brought to the complex to enhance their qualifications.
