Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan discussed the issue of their prompt repatriation during a meeting with Yevgeny Volosatov.

Furthermore, numerous appeals have been received regarding the extended detention period of some citizens.

The meeting noted that additional negotiations will be held to protect the rights of detained compatriots who violated migration rules and to improve the situation in the Primorye region. The number of Uzbek citizens currently working temporarily in Russia is approximately 1.3 million.
