In the Fergana region, employees of the State Security Service exposed the illegal trade of narcotic substances. During the operation, two individuals residing in the city of Margilan, born in 1983 and 1989, were apprehended while receiving 9.9 kg of "hashish" substance. 14.5 thousand US dollars and 6.25 million soums were also confiscated from them.
Furthermore, 110 grams of "opium," electronic scales, and 28 million soums were seized from the home of a citizen born in 1980. During the investigation, the involvement of two brothers born in 1990 and 1995 in the crime was also established.
The Bogdad district court found all 5 defendants guilty and sentenced them to imprisonment from 12 to 15 years. The offenders were given the opportunity to reflect behind bars and understand their mistakes.
