According to the new regulations, the working week for medical personnel is set not to exceed 36 hours. For those working under harmful and hazardous labor conditions, as well as in types of medical activities with high psycho-emotional and intellectual load, the working week is also set at 36 hours.
For non-medical staff, however, the working week constitutes 40 hours.
Polyclinics and family doctor's offices operate on a duty basis from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 14:00.
In areas where the new medical model is implemented, the core working hours are set from 08:00 to 16:00, with additional duty organized between 16:00 and 20:00.
During duty hours, the salaries of medical personnel are retained. Furthermore, internal documents and employment contracts will be re-registered. In inpatient institutions, duty is organized on a permanent basis.
