In a congratulatory message sent on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee, the President of Russia made exactly that statement.
He recalled that Russia hosted the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 and in Sochi in 2014.
"Russia is ready to host the Summer and Winter Olympic Games again in the future and to contribute to preserving the true values of the Olympic movement," the congratulatory message states.
According to Putin, the previous games were also highly praised by the International Olympic Committee.
