Two young men who organized a race on a road section in Tashkent, endangering citizens' lives and grossly violating traffic rules in society, have been punished. This was reported by the head of the information service of the YXXB, Zoir Yuldoshev.
On March 27, around 03:40, a report was received about a race being organized with LACETTI and ONIX cars on one of the streets of the Almazar district of the capital, violating traffic rules and public order.
During investigations conducted by internal affairs officers based on camera recordings from the mentioned streets and instructions from witnesses to the incident, the offenders were identified as 27-year-old Ramz Islomov and 21-year-old Azimjon Abdusattorov.
On the same day, the cars were placed in an impound lot, and documents prepared for taking legal measures against the offenders were submitted to the judicial authorities. By a decision of the Almazar district court on criminal cases, each offender was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention.
"I apologize for driving the car loudly and at high speed. I also apologize to anyone whose peace I disturbed. This situation will not be repeated," said the LACETTI driver. The ONIX driver also expressed regret for jerking the car into motion and increasing speed.
A YXXB representative asked citizens who suffered from the aforementioned individuals' violations to appeal to the IIO.
