President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the pavilion of National Cultural Centers in the Yakkasaroy district of our capital.

In our country, representatives of more than 130 nations and ethnic groups live as a single and friendly family, with 157 national-cultural centers operating. This diversity is considered a unique social phenomenon formed as a result of centuries-long historical processes.

In our country, the development of national cultures, the preservation and strengthening of interethnic harmony, and thereby educating the young generation in the spirit of tolerance and mutual understanding have consistently been a priority direction of state policy.

The pavilion, built on a square adjacent to the Friendship Garden and the building of the Committee for Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries, reflecting the distinctive architecture of twenty-two nations, is a vivid confirmation of this attention.

This place houses two-story friendship houses of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, and Bashkir yurts, as well as the Korean, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Greek, German, Dungan, Polish, Jewish, Georgian, Armenian, Tatar and Crimean Tatar, Uighur, Turkish, Tajik, Chinese, Russian, and Azerbaijani peoples.

The interiors are decorated in accordance with the national traditions of those peoples. The expositions feature many exhibits reflecting national costumes, musical instruments, decorative and applied art samples, historical models, and cultural heritage.

Today, the splendor of Navruz reigns in the pavilion, for Navruz is a holiday that brings with it noble ideas such as unity, renewal, and an invitation to goodness.

The head of our state familiarized himself with the activities of each national home. He had a sincere conversation with the participants.

During the meetings, the special contribution of national-cultural centers in holding nationwide holidays with high spirit was noted. Gratitude was expressed to our compatriots of various nationalities for their high patriotism and selfless labor, which contribute to enhancing the socio-economic potential of our republic.

Our President watched the artistic program organized for the pavilion's guests. He took a photo together with representatives of the national cultural centers.
