According to information from the State Security Service, during an urgent operation conducted in the city of Fergana, a bag belonging to a citizen born in 1989 was inspected, and a total of 4 kilograms 463 grams of hashish substance was identified and seized as material evidence.
The investigation revealed that this narcotic substance had been smuggled into the country from Afghanistan and its sale was planned in Fergana region. His older brother, previously convicted and involved in this case, was also detained.
Furthermore, during an urgent operation in the city of Navoi, a citizen born in 2000 was detained, and hashish oil and hashish substances were found on him. Subsequently, upon inspection of his home, it was established that he had set up a drug laboratory. A large quantity of plant-based narcotics and equipment for their preparation and packaging were confiscated from that location.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and the measure of restraint "detention" has been applied against the suspects. Investigative actions are ongoing.
