Four citizens of Tajikistan accused of carrying out the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region have been sentenced to life imprisonment. This was reported by "RIA Novosti" citing the court verdict.
Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Muhammadsabir Fayzov were found guilty by the court of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities, illegal trafficking of weapons, participating in the activities of a terrorist organization, and committing a terrorist attack.
They must serve part of their sentence in prison and part in a special regime colony. In addition, the court imposed a fine of 990,000 rubles on each of them. The court also agreed with the investigation's conclusion that all four were members of the "Islamic State Khorasan Province" group.
In the case, another 11 people were sentenced to life imprisonment; Israel, Dilovar, and Aminchon Islomov, who provided cars and an apartment to the accused, were sentenced to 19 years and 11 months; and Alisher Kasimov, who sold a white Reno Logan to the perpetrators, was sentenced to 22 years and 10 months.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on the evening of March 22, 2024. Several armed individuals burst into the concert hall building, shot at the crowd, and then set the building on fire. As a result of the attack, 149 people were killed, one person went missing, and 609 people received bodily injuries.
Four citizens of Tajikistan were accused of carrying out the attack, and they pleaded guilty. Following this incident, raids against migrants in Russia have intensified.
