On March 5, a verbal altercation occurred among several minors in the city of Bekobod. During the conflict, one of them inflicted wounds on the victim's right and left chest area with a kitchen knife. This was reported to Darakchi.uz by the Press Secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov.
The victim was taken to a medical institution, but despite the medical assistance provided, he died.
Regarding the incident, the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan has initiated a criminal case under Article 97 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (intentional homicide). The minor suspected of inflicting the knife wound has been detained in accordance with procedural rules.
Investigative actions are currently underway.
